Title: Is Cryptohopper a Lambo or a Scam? Real Talk on the AI Trading Bot
Post by: meyele on Nov 17, 2025, 10:18 AM
Hey degens, seen a bunch of ads for Cryptohopper lately and wanted to spark a proper discussion. Has anyone here actually used their AI/algorithmic trading bots long-term? We talking consistent tendies, or is it another platform that only works in a bull run?

Hit me with your honest reviews. Screenshots of profits/losses welcome (but not required, lol).

Been running a Hero subscription for 6 months. Not gonna lie, the first month was rough, mostly because I was tweaking settings every five minutes like a noob. But once I bought a solid, backtested strategy from the marketplace and left the DCA/Trailing Stop Loss settings alone, my portfolio is up 35% overall. It's not a 'get rich quick' button, but it's def a 'set and forget' for passive income once you nail the config. Huge time saver.

It's a tool, not a magic box. For me, the value is in the Paper Trading and Backtesting. I can fine-tune my own custom indicators and strategies with real-time exchange data without risking real money. The $57.50/mo for the Adventurer plan is worth it just for the advanced tools and 5-min scanning interval. Performance is highly exchange-dependent, too. Make sure your API keys are set up correctly, that's where most people mess up and blame the bot.

Total scam unless you're a genius quant trader.

Up 20% this quarter, but I treat it like a casino. I only use the bot for altcoin shorting when the market looks top-heavy. The Trailing Stop-Loss and DCA are lifesavers for managing risk while I'm sleeping. The UI is a bit clunky, and customer support takes forever to respond, which is why I keep my trading capital low. Don't YOLO your life savings into it and you'll be fine.
