Love how this got framed - Trezor for transparency, Ledger for hardware toughness. Personally, I use a Trezor as my vault (so I can actually audit everything), and a Ledger as my daily signer - it's just easier for quick mobile access. Never had a crypto-leveling mishap, but remembering to verify the address on the device's screen literally stopped me from sending my whole stack to some phishing UI - talk about waking me up fast!

Also, question for the group - how do you juggle BLE/mobile features with cold-wallet paranoia? Anyone ever re-enabled Bluetooth and felt a tiny twinge of regret?

Short take: both are good, but they come from different philosophies - Trezor = open-source transparency; Ledger = secure-element + closed OS. The devil's in the day-to-day.

   •   Security model: do you prefer auditability (Trezor) or tamper-resistant chips (Ledger)?
   •   UX & apps: Trezor Suite is clean and straight-shooting; Ledger Live has wide coin/app coverage. Which one actually gives you fewer headaches?
   •   Connectivity: USB-only vs Bluetooth/mobile — dealbreaker or nice-to-have?
   •   Web3 flow: signing with MetaMask/Rabby — which combo gives clearer prompts and fewer "what am I signing?" moments?
   •   Passphrase & backups: any gotchas with setup/restore you've hit in the wild?
   •   Trust vibes: did past controversies or support experiences sway you either way?

Your turn:
   1.   What's your vault device vs your daily signer, and why?
   2.   One concrete "saved my funds" or "never again" story.
   3.   If you switched brands, what pushed you over the edge?

PSA: buy from official channels, run the genuine-device check, and verify the address on the device screen before every send. No ref links, please.
