My current approach:
  • 40% BTC & ETH (cold storage, multisig)
  • 25% staked L1s like ATOM, NEAR, AVAX
  • 15% high-risk alts (rotated quarterly)
  • 20% stablecoins earning yield (on-chain + CeFi combo)

I rebalance 2–3 times a year and always take profit when something does a x5 or higher. Emotionally detaching from "it will go higher" took years 💀

Is it realistic? Depends where you live. Crypto gives you freedom, but you need structure too. I'm aiming for semi-retirement + passive income by 2030.

solid framework. Quick q: on that 20% yield, how much is on-chain vs CeFi? I try to keep CeFi <10% post-2022 and park most in on-chain stables / tokenized T-bill products.

My current mix (high level): 60% BTC/ETH (multisig cold), 20% staked L1s (ETH/SOL/ATOM), 10% rotating alts with hard exits at 2x/3x/5x, 10% stables = 12–18 months runway. I rebalance on bands (±5%) and sell into strength rather than "hopeium."

Goal isn't yacht life either—just lower stress and a portfolio that can fund a modest 4–5% draw in bull years. How are you handling withdrawals—fixed % or event-based like your 5x rule?

Not banking on early retirement, but I'm stacking sats and staking ETH.
No yacht plans — just slow growth, no debt, and maybe less stress by 2030.

Not gonna lie, I relate to that "vibes and a hardware wallet" strategy 😅

Not tryna retire on a yacht just yet 😅
But yeah, building bags for the long run.
BTC + ETH = cold storage. Everything else is just a bonus.
I'll cash out when it feels right — no fixed plan, just vibes and a hardware wallet.

Some plan to retire on Bitcoin. Others on stablecoins and staking.

What's your long-term vision?
  • Are you aiming to live off crypto?
  • Do you cash out profits or keep reinvesting?
  • How do you protect long-term holdings?

Serious thoughts only 💭
