Totally hear you - MetaMask does own DeFi and EVM app access in 2025, no argument there. But I'd push back and say: that flexibility comes at a cost - namely UX bloat and phishing risk.

Coinbase Wallet might feel basic, but I sleep better knowing every transaction goes through a first-party dApp review and that UI prompts are crystal clear. Plus, Auto-token recognition with trusted contract lists gives you fewer WTF moments mid-swap.

So yeah - MetaMask is power-user paradise. Coinbase Wallet? It's like training wheels with built-in safety nets. Depends if you're trading or just trying not to lose your shirt, right?

When it comes to managing your crypto and Web3 assets, two names dominate the conversation: MetaMask and Coinbase Wallet.
Both are popular, but which one is right for you?
